Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club 
VE Testing Session 

 

        The Brainerd Area Amateur Radio Club held ARRL/FCC license testing for non-hams and for hams looking to upgrade their licenses.  Testing was held Tuesday, November 23, 1999 at the Mississippi Horizons School in Brainerd.  

        Eight people showed up to be tested at the session.   Of that group, five became Technician or Technician Plus hams.  They are Orcena Lyle, Curtis Mott, Linda Wannebo, Alan Tschida, and Robert Gustafson.  All of those were members of the ham class that was given by John WØJGY and Ken KAØJSW.  

        Darrell KCØFYC has been a Technician class ham since last spring.  He passed the written exam for General class at the exam session.  Gene Oelslager KBØWLT of Bemidji passed the Advanced class test. 

            My thanks to the volunteer examiners who took the time out to help the hobby.  They included:  Al WØRC, Tom WØQF, Terry KIØFW, Lyle KØLR, Fritz WØKO, Ken KAØJSW, and myself WØMH.
